HU match

I just played a guy for five and a half hours on iPoker. I ended up losing 6 buy ins on the session and probably 7 to him.
He was playing so poorly that I felt I had an edge on him. I got back a lot on him at one point, but then staked off pretty light.
I think I made some mistakes in big pots, but at the same time he was playing such a crazy predictable style that I felt I could grind it back which I did several times, but I just couldn't take down a big pot.
I've never seen somebody play the way he has before. He reraised from the blinds everytime he played a hand, he'd call say 5% of the time. He called about 85% of my 4bets. He would check/fold every time on the flop and if he bet he had a hand typically. I think he almost never bluffed, I only caught him bluffing right at the beginning of the match.
One thing I must say though was that he never made a bad call down which was party of why it was so difficult to get back up on him.
It's crazy, but it's almost like he was cheating. It just doesn't make sense for him to show a profit playing the way he does.

Here are some of my most frustrating pots:

1
2
3
4

I won't lie I played some pots poorly aswell, but the match just wasn't in my favour in general. I'm going to implement a 3 buy in quit rule for now, just to make sure I'm not tilting. I'm also going to look for another site to play hu on, most likely Full Tilt Poker because I think they have the best software to play HU on.

Idunno, but weaktight is rly the right site to post these hands on.. Why the fuck would you want to play so passivly vs such a donkey.. No wonder he's showing a profit.. Especially the second hand, why not jam that set in on the flop? No flame intended, but it seems to me you dont adjust well to these type of players..

Hi anonymous. I don't think jamming middle set on a 3 flush board 350bb deep will show a profit here versus this player. I assure you he's not felting worse.
What type of player would you perceive him to be?

Ps.: Why shouldn't I post these hands on weaktight?

Hey cntgetmedown, ok maybe i was a little rude in my last post. Didnt mean to be. I didnt see you were that deep (kinda dumb imo lol) but still. I feel you played a little weak tight, thats why i said it IS the right site to post them on. I agree these are some tough spots, but you seem to put him on the right hands, only not putting enough pressure on him when he hasnt made his retard draws yet.. Again, i'm rly sorry my last comment came across so rude. But don't you agree with me that you might have played ur very strong hands (a set on a 3flush board HU is still rly strong imo, since flopped flushes dont exist;)) kind of weak?

I agree with you on the QQ set, but not on the TT set hand. The pot on the flop in relation too the stack sizes is just way too small for putting in a lot of money to be good in my opinion, he wasn't paying off light in big pots.
However the pot in the QQ hand wasn't nearly as small in comparison to the stack sizes so it becomes more of a mistake to fold to worse hands, which I think he can have in retrospect.
I never claimed to be a specialist 300bb or 400bb deep and this HU. To me this is still learning the game.
I think it's also pretty easy for people to say that look at my hands , but didnt actually play this kid for five hours and allways get shown very big hands when he put in a lot of action.

I also wanted to use the TT hand to get to showdown and see what he was putting pressure on me with, but the 4th club rolled off just like the 4 straight in the QJ hand.

Yeah i see your point, and i understand its not that easy to play vs such an opponant that deep. But i do think you have a serious edge (i read ur blog a lot) and were being pushed around. Ofcourse i didnt play him, so i dont know a lot about him, but also the QJ hand vs him I would probably ALWAYS 3bet that flop, ur hand is so strong, rly missing some value there.. So obv that 4th straight card sucks, but i think the biggest mistake is made before that.. Just something to think about, just cus he's running hot doesnt mean you shouldnt valuebet him to death
